RADIATORS AND INTERCOOLERS

Intercoolers cool intake air which is heated by turbochargers or superchargers. Cooler air is more dense, allowing more air into the engine, it also reduces the chance of damaging detonation allowing higher boost and more advanced timing. Fitting a larger intercooler with high flow plumming can significantly increase power and allow engine to be retuned to further increase power.

Herbert fabrication and engineering custom make intercoolers to suit allmost any size or application. Here twin intercoolers were created to suit limited under bonnet space of a fiat rally car.
When an engine is used for performance applications often the stock radiator is insufficient to keep engine temperatures down. Excessive heat can damage engines reduce fuel consumption and reduce power output. Herbert Fabrication radiators are custom made to take advantage of maximum avaliable area and significantly improve cooling when needed.
