Merge type exhaust collectors are raced in everything from Formula 1 to Formula Atlantic, CART/IRL, Indycars, Sprint Cars, Midgets and Touring cars.
Fabricated out of pre-bent tubing, (mild steel or stainless steel) to form a pyramid inside, these merge collectors help reduce exhaust turbulance and aid in scavenging
exhaust gases away from the cylinder head, resulting in a broader torque curve and higher top end horsepower.
The internal and external taper of the collector cone gives the venturi effect, speeding exhaust gas flow.

Racing collectors are available in 2-into-1, 3-into-1 and 4-into-1 configurations. There is no standard collector outlet size so each one is custom made based on the customers order.
